BRYAN, Texas (KBTX) – Many families left Neal Park blessed on Saturday after receiving free clothing and essentials from the Clothed in Righteousness closet. This gift for men, women and children has been organized by Holy Trinity Worship Ministries. In addition to clothing, the church donated shoes, toys and baby necessities.

“That’s what we want to focus on is ministry outside the four walls of the church,” Chenika Brooks. “Right now we know gas prices are going up, food prices are going up and so this is just one of our many activities that we will be doing to help the community.”

Brooks, the church’s executive director of operations, said the community played a key role in donating for the event. She said families were lined up before the event started at 9 a.m.

“There was a lady here who already had two kids,” Brooks said. “She’s got one on the way, and she was saying how grateful she was because everything goes up, so she has to reallocate her money to different areas and it’s been a big help for her and her family.”
