Retailer’s Brand Mobile App and SNAP Online Unveiled at NGA Show in Las Vegas
Rosie will unveil two important initiatives at the NGA Show in Las Vegas September 19-20, 2021: Rosie Mobile, a white-label mobile app, and Online SNAP Payments. SNAP online payments and the next-generation store branding mobile app enable independent retailers to meet and exceed shoppers’ expectations in the way they buy and pay for groceries online.
Rosie launches her first branded mobile app for independent grocers. Rosie’s presence at the NGA Show is part of an ongoing pre-sale effort to give retailers the option to reserve their mobile app ahead of release.
“Many of our retailers’ customers prefer to order groceries from their mobile devices. In fact, 50% of customers buy on mobile and the conversion rates are three times higher than on desktop, ”said Haley Sammis, account management manager at Rosie.
Rosie’s online SNAP pilot comes after several months of development and coordination between retailers Rosie, FNS, and Fiserv. These two elements enhance the online shopping experience that Rosie’s business partners are able to offer their customers and make e-commerce an option accessible to more people.
“SNAP customers deserve the same amenities as customers who pay cash and credit,” says Irene Cooper, project manager at Lake Region IGA. “With Rosie’s guidance, we were approved for the pilot program. Offering our paying SNAP customers the ability to shop online and have their groceries delivered is at the top of our list for 2021. ”
During Rosie’s 6th year of participation in the NGA Show and as a 2021 sponsor, “Ecommerce is better with Rosie” is illustrated by these two launches, as well as a panel discussion focused on digital merchandising. “The Future of Digital Merchandising” takes place on the morning of Monday, September 20, hosted by Rosie Founder and CEO Nick Nickitas, with panelists from retailers Thomas Horne (Associated Food Stores), Jodi Drake (Davis Food & Drug) and Alexa Dash (Dash’s Market). “We couldn’t be more excited to attend the NGA conference in person again so that we can connect with those we are here to serve: independent grocers,” said Paul Hemingway, vice-president. Rosie CEO.
“This is an opportunity for Rosie to share some truly revolutionary tools that will take our retailers’ online offering to the next level and prove to their customers that choosing to buy locally is just as easy and convenient as choosing the store to. large area down the street. . “
Earlier this year, Rosie finalized $ 10 million Series A funding, allowing the team to introduce new tools to improve the experience for buyers and retailers, launch new products to deliver a journey omnichannel transparent to home, in-store or on-the-go shoppers, invest more in monetization opportunities to increase retailer profitability and recruit the best and brightest to accelerate product development.
