Rosen Publishing, ‘Scientific American’ Children’s/YA Imprint Launch
Students interested in exploring in-depth science topics will soon have a new set of resources at their disposal. The Rosen Publishing Group and American scientist magazine have joined forces to create a new publishing brand: Scientific American Educational Publishing. This brand will launch with 16 titles in the fall, followed by an additional 18 titles in the spring of 2023. Additionally, the Rosen Publishing Group has begun selling an assortment of previously released titles. American scientist ebooks through its distribution channels.
The first two series under the imprint, available in August, will target different age groups. Bring Science Home will include eight books focused on core STEM concepts, such as food physics, design and engineering, and math, designed for upper elementary students. Scientific American Explore Big Ideas will include eight titles on contemporary science that promote critical thinking and analytical skills in high school students. Among these titles are How COVID-19 changed the world, sports science, Understanding Abuseand Smartphone Generation: The Effects of Smartphones on Teenagers.
