Any Target lover knows that a shopping trip to this store can get really out of hand, really fast.

Ran for milk and toothpaste? Be prepared, you’ll walk out of the store with about $100 more stuff you probably didn’t need, but absolutely had to have.

My biggest downfall at Target is still their Dollar Spot. All things are supposed to be super cheap, but these deals explode when you load up a cart full of them.

Target cuts prices at all Illinois stores

Do you remember when the pandemic started, we were all buying new TVs, kitchen appliances and other things to keep us busy while staying at home? Well, those days are now over and Target is full of products that people don’t buy much from anymore. According to an article by NBC Chicago;

The Associated Press reports that with sales of large electronic items like televisions and small kitchen appliances declining, Target now finds itself with bloated inventory that it says needs to be cut to sell.

The NBC Chicago article also says Target will likely be canceling orders from vendors of these products as they try to clean up their inventory, so if you’re on the hunt for a new TV or device, you better check them out. get as soon as possible.

Will Target increase the prices of other items?

Now that I’ve told you that some prices at Target will be reduced, I have to prepare you for the prices of other high-demand items to go up. Namely, groceries and beauty products, (big disappointment!), so shop around and budget accordingly.
